
Midi has been around for what seems like a lifetime. For some it is! Music recording has come a long way since midi was invented, but it is still at the heart of most modern recording system.
From early synthesizers and then home computers to the latest stand alone hard disk recording systems and professional studio gear midi has played a major part. Entire genres of music may not even have existed without it. Entire sections of writers and composers would never have realized their musical dreams.
Is that laying it on a bit thick? Well no!
